The Staff Accountant provides support of the financial operations of Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC) by performing accounting services, including but not limited to: month-end close process, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, chart of accounts maintenance, petty cash audits, audit preparation and all steps related to preparing, maintaining and reviewing various financial statements and records. The role ensures the timely, accurate and effective financial reporting.
Minimum Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance or related field. Two years or previous work experience in accounting field. Previous work experience in healthcare accounting is preferred.
